Innovative Activities to Empower Adult Educators & Single Moms
The 5Star Single Moms Project is structured around five key activities, each designed to equip adult educators with the tools and methodologies needed to support single moms effectively.
These activities combine psychological (cognitive) and technological (social) approaches, creating a comprehensive learning experience that can be implemented across various educational institutions.
🌟 SIRIUS | Project Management & Framework Development (click to download the pdf)
📍 Location: Greece
📅 Duration: 43 days (3 days transnational, 40 days local)
🎯 Objective: Establishing the project’s foundation, methodology, and communication strategy.
🔹 Description:
The SIRIUS activity serves as a think tank where project partners establish key guidelines for project management, monitoring, and evaluation. This phase includes:
✅ Developing a checklist for project implementation.
✅ Creating a communication & dissemination strategy.
✅ Selecting adult educators who will participate in the program.
✅ Launching the official project website & social media platforms.
🔹 Expected Outcomes:
✔ A structured project framework with clear guidelines.
✔ An effective communication & visibility plan.
✔ A network of qualified adult educators ready to participate.


🌟 CANOPUS | CANOPUS | Research & Awareness Guide for Adult Educators (click to download the pdf)
📍 Location: Greece
📅 Duration: 43 days (3 days transnational, 40 days local)
🎯 Objective: Establishing the project’s foundation, methodology, and communication strategy.
🔹 Description:
The CANOPUS activity focuses on developing a comprehensive awareness guide for adult educators. This guide is based on three pillars:
✅ Theoretical Research – Understanding the challenges faced by single moms.
✅ Experimental Studies – Exploring practical interventions and real-world applications.
✅ Neuroscientific Insights – Analyzing the cognitive and emotional impact of divorce.
Each partner will contribute research findings, and adult educators will collaborate via online meetings to develop a multi-language awareness guide.

✔ A digital & print-ready guide for adult educators.
✔ Increased awareness of social and psychological challenges faced by single moms.
✔ Improved ability of educators to design evidence-based interventions.

📅 Duration: 45 days (3 days transnational, 42 days local)
🎯 Objective: Training adult educators to use gamification and social-technological activities to support single moms.
🔹 Description:
The RIGIL KENTAURUS activity introduces digital and gamification-based learning strategies that make educational experiences more engaging. The training includes:
✅ Understanding the role of social interaction in therapy & education.
✅ Developing gamified activities tailored for single moms.
✅ Creating structured time-management strategies for social activities.
✅ Integrating social media tools to enhance community support.
🔹 Expected Outcomes:
✔ A comprehensive training module for adult educators on gamification.
✔ A curated list of digital tools and apps to support single moms.
✔ Increased engagement and motivation among single moms participating in adult education programs.

📅 Duration: 41 days
🎯 Objective: Integrating psychological (cognitive) support and digital tools into adult education programs.
🔹 Description:
The ARCTURUS activity focuses on equipping adult educators with digital psychological support tools that enhance single moms’ emotional well-being. This activity includes:
✅ Researching and identifying digital psychological support tools (apps, platforms, interactive media).
✅ Developing online training sessions for educators to integrate these tools into their programs.
✅ Testing multi-sensory digital learning methods to enhance engagement.
🔹 Expected Outcomes:
✔ A digital resource library with online tools for single moms.
✔ Educators trained in online psychological support strategies.
✔ Increased self-confidence and emotional well-being among single moms.

📍 Location: Multi-country (Final phase)
📅 Duration: 40 days
🎯 Objective: Assessing the overall impact of the project and ensuring long-term sustainability.
🔹 Description:
The VEGA activity serves as the final phase, ensuring that the project achieves its intended outcomes. This phase involves:
✅ Evaluating the effectiveness of all training modules.
✅ Collecting feedback from adult educators and single moms.
✅ Identifying best practices for future applications.
✅ Developing a long-term sustainability strategy for integrating project results into adult education programs.
🔹 Expected Outcomes:
✔ A final evaluation report showcasing project impact.
✔ A repository of best practices and success stories.
✔ A sustainability plan for further application beyond the project duration.
